Really comfortable ,have wild places to lie down.5
Love it!yvonneEasy to out together. Says you need 2 people but I did it myself. Got the textured patterned cloth and it looks very nice. Comfortable. Slept on it to see and slept sound.5
Looks great!TraceyEasy to assemble. Very stylish. Not enough cushioning on the bench seat part. If there was more cushioning there, I’d give it five stars.4
Beautiful and uncomfortable.esdliIt was like seating on cardboard. And it looks like cardboard cover on canvas rough fabric.1
It’s a good fit for the roomStevenBoth the color and how it nestles in the main living room are right on the mark.5
Functional and comfortable, but short termegheatherThis holds up well for my purposes, since I'm only planning to use it for two years or so. But the cushion fabric does show some wrinkles. It's comfortable though, and pretty good for the price! I had a task rabbit put it together, which i'd recommend unless you have a skilled helper. it looked difficult!4
I love this loungy open sofaJulieseaI got the armless sofa in white after agonizing about the mixed reviews, and I’m so glad I did. My cat loves it, but you can’t tell as his fur doesn’t stick and his claws don’t catch on it. I was concerned with the wide dimensions being out of proportion to the length, but the low height makes it work by shifting the feel from sofa to lounge pit. It’s very difficult to sit fully upright on this sofa, I end up in a leaning back position. If you want a formal feel skip this sofa. The white cover reads very pale gray due to the black/white texture. With additional throw and bolster pillows it’s very comfortable and looks intentionally styled while still informal. I put it tougher by myself in about an hour, one of IKEA’s more straightforward assemblies. I love that all I have to do the next time I move isunscrew the bolts to the back.5
Modern, but the novelty & comfort wear out quicklyanonymous132We purchased a sofa and ottoman 3yrs ago. We initially liked how deep, low, and modern it looked, and how it can serve as a temporary bed when needed. We switched out the legs with the straight wood option. The fabric is looking pretty worn and tired after 3yrs, as the seat cushions are considerably lighter than the rest of the couch from being washed, and the cushions have virtually no loft. This would be an easy fix if IKEA offered cushion replacements. In the meantime we removed the bottom cushions and got the least expensive twin foam mattress and are using that instead (it fits perfectly). It's not particularly attractive, but we don't lose all feeling after sitting to watch a movie either. After a few years, we got tired of how low and deep it was, and just wanted comfort and function (we recently purchased the 3.5 Ektorp, which we love). I should also mention that our cats can't resist sharpening their claws on the rough fabric. It's like it's been infused with catnip. Overall I'd say if comfort and function was your priority, choose another sofa, but if it is style you want, this one can fits the bill with a few tweaks. If there were cushion insert replacements, I'd up my rating to a 4.3
Cute, comfortable, and easy to assembleaioanTo be honest I was initially drawn to this couch because it's pink, but I was really pleased with how comfy it is. A lot of Ikea couches are a bit cardboard bench feeling to me, but this one is soft and the deep seat really helps. It is a bit low to the ground so if you have trouble getting up you may not like it as much. I was pleasantly surprised with how quick and easy it was to assemble too.5
Hope to hold on to this for years!rarasusuThis was my first real grown-up couch. I bought this and the chaise in white, then bought some real-wood midcentury replacement sofa legs on ets y. It now looks like a huge, expensive sectional and I recieve a lot of compliments on it! Did I mention it feels huge!? Because of the way this sofa (not including the chaise) is divided up into just two cusions, it looks like it would only fit two people, but it comfortably fits 3. With the chaise, I could squeeze five people onto my sectional. It makes a fabulous place for guests to sleep as well. Take the back cusions off and it's practically a twin-size bed. I bought a 2 memory foam mattress topper and it's crazy comfortable. My mom, who's picky on mattresses and is in her 60's, slept on it for 2 weeks while visiting and said it was weirdly comfortable. I got the white color. The fabric feels very high-end, and if you look closely, you'll quickly realize it's kind of two-tone: gray in the background and white in the foreground. From a few feet away, it just looks white, but up close, it's a little moe interesting. I imagine this also helps mask stains. From my memory, the gray and blue colors were very different and felt more velvety. But I like my fabric because I feel like it stops you from getting to hot during the summer. It's very breathable. I've had it for about a year now and have used it A LOT (both my boyfriend and I work from home and he likes to sit on it throughout most of the day) and it's held up like new. I love that if I ever feel like it's getting old, I can just wash the cover or (if it really needs TLC) replace the cover. Just love it. Get it.5
Can"t beat itSmoochesThis is one of the best options Ikea offers. You can add and design it to your liking at anytime. I got my pieces over a few months when I had the funds to purchase. Every piece looked better with each addition. I didn't bolt them together so I can rearrange them into individual seats and move them easily. The gray cover is modern and easy to keep clean.5
