Product details

The TV bench in walnut veneer with legs of solid ash brings a warm, natural feeling to your room.

The distinctive grain pattern in the walnut veneer gives each piece of furniture a unique character.

Walnut is a naturally hardwearing material. The surface has been made even more durable by a protective coat of lacquer.

You can easily hide cords by leading them between shelves and out the cable outlets on the underside of the bench.

You can easily change the height according to your storage needs as the shelves are adjustable.

The TV bench stays in place on uneven floors because it has adjustable feet.

We recommend a TV bench to be a bit wider than the TV placed on it. This TV bench suits a TV up to 63 inches. You can choose a larger TV if it’s not heavier than the specified max load for the bench’s top.

The top panel of the TV bench is intended for a TV with a maximum weight of 110 lbs.

Different wall materials require different types of fasteners. Use fasteners suitable for the walls in your home.

As functional as designed. FeelsMatthewAs functional as designed. Feels worth the price. Construction was straightforward. Never have trouble popping open the front drawers. Fits everything I need easily and hides it beautifully. Love the texture of the finish. Would’ve liked to have more than just two shelf adjustments in each section though5
Di CLove this Stockholm TV Unit!!! Just beautiful!5
Great piece, a piece of hardwasre was missing!mechrorobotoconLove this piece- I don't buy much new furniture, but this piece really spoke to me. The cubbie drwares are nice and compact, but a little to small for air circulation, so you may want to put that gaming console on top. The reason this gets a three, is that it was missing a piece of hardware and sits unfinished in my living room while I wait (a week and a half since I made my claim, was told it could take three weeks?!). I live in a state (Oklahoma) where there is no Ikea, so to drive 4 hours to purchase and have an incomplete set really nugs me.3
One piece changed the look of my living roomJcmiaNice style. Super clean lines. Easy to build.4
DisappointedSadDadWe searched for the right fit for some very specific dimensions. Finally found what we were looking for at IKEA. It was twice what we wanted to pay but figured it was worth it since it was the perfect size. After I got it together I noticed the doors don’t quite work the way the floor model did. Very disappointed and returning it would be pretty difficult due to its size and the distance to IKEA.1
Love the mid-century styleDigilogHeavy but wonderful item.5
Seg23We liked it a while before we bought it and so glad we did!5
Wood Grain is GrayJohnny KI bought this the other day and when I got it home I took it out of the box to discover the Walnut Veneer was plain grey instead of the lighter blonde it was supposed to be. I will be returning this. I can find a much more consistant piece of furniture that doesn’t require assembly for $400.2
Wood Veneer Bleached Out Over TimeCodyleighWe bought this almost 2 years ago now. The wood started out nice and looked rich, and has slowly faded to a muted and dull looking color. The solid wood base now looks way darker than the top, and it doesn't look great with our other furniture. It is solid, though, and a decent piece otherwise.3
Great TV standindiebassThis TV stand is extremely easy to put together, and exceptionally sturdy. It looks fantastic, and has a great profile that is just right for our space. Keeps the TV at the right height, and doesn't take up too much room in the space. Very clean design, and head and shoulders above many of the other TV stands we looked at. It is pricey, but made to last and has a look that won't look out of place any time soon. Only complaint is that the access holes for electronic wiring is only on the bottom, none on the back. This is a minor complaint, and keeps the back of the unit looking clean if you don't have it against a wall for some reason.5
Great piece of furnitureSetagayaSimple design, yet sofisticated and chic. It was very easy to put together and it looks like a very expensive piece of funiture.5
StylishBlaze18Works great for our 55 inch tv.5
So beautiful!beccarWe bought this a month ago and it is so beautiful! It was really easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I know it will last a long time. Also, I don't know how heavy our tv is, but it's pretty heavy and I have no fear about it being too heavy for this unit. It looks beautiful in our apartment and makes me so happy that I can close the doors and hide all of our receivers and remotes. I'm in love!5
Stockholm unitxxxxxxxooooWe use this piece of furniture in the great room and love the clean lines, simple style. Great storage with three compartments in front. Very happy we found this piece at IKEA and would highly recommend it.5

Great productMehmedvmWe like the color and design5
sturdy unit5yr old momBought the piece from the As-Is section, very happy with the price. A perfect fit for the house. Only unhappy bit it is the broken door, which I knew about at purchase. I would definitely recommend this item.3
Nice piece for a compact homepaperkeysThis is a great piece. Probably more for a compact home or an apartment where space is limited. It's a beautiful color and the finish is not shiny. Just perfect. My only let down was with the veneer. It's the luck of the draw, but mine has this line going through one door panel. It bothered me a lot when I opened the box. But, oh well. I can live with it, but I will be on the lookout for a new door in the AS-IS section from now on. :/5
Gorgeous!Chars1113I have been looking for the perfect entertainment center. This piece is absolutely beautiful! Hides all of the cords and cable box and ROKU work with the cabinet closed.5

Our take on wood

Wood is the material most commonly associated with IKEA furniture, and for good reasons. It’s renewable, recyclable, durable, ages beautifully and it is an important part of our Scandinavian design heritage. At IKEA, we believe that sourced in responsible way, wood is a key change driver for climate mitigation. In 2012, we set a goal that by 2020 our wood would be from more sustainable sources. We are happy to announce that we have reached this goal and today, more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

Forests are critical for life on earth

Forests contribute to maintaining balance in the atmosphere, purify the air that we breathe and are part of the water cycle. They nourish wildlife biodiversity and provide homes for indigenous communities who depend on forests for their livelihoods. 90% of plant and animal species living on the planet need forests to survive. They provide sources of food, fuel, timber and many other ecosystem services that we rely upon. Sourcing approximately 19 million m3 of roundwood per year from some 50 countries, IKEA has a significant impact on the world’s forests and the timber industry and a huge responsibility to positively influence how wood is sourced. Responsible wood sourcing and forest management ensure that the needs of people dependent on forests are met, that businesses can work sustainably, that forest ecosystems are protected and biodiversity is enhanced.

100% wood from more sustainable sources

At IKEA, we work with strict industry standards to promote responsible forestry. We don’t allow any wood in our supply chain from forest areas that are illegal or contain high conservation values or from forest areas with social conflict. Before starting to work with IKEA, suppliers must demonstrate that they meet IKEA critical requirements on wood sourcing. IKEA requires all suppliers to source wood from more sustainable sources (FSC-certified or recycled wood). All suppliers are audited regularly and non-compliant suppliers are required to implement immediate corrective actions. By working together with our suppliers, we are proud to announce that we have reached our more sustainable sources goal, which we set out to achieve by 2020. Today more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030

As pressure on the world’s forests and the surrounding eco-systems increases due to unsustainable agriculture, the expansion of infrastructure and illegal logging, it is time to take an even more holistic approach to protect and support these important resources for generations to come. The IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030 set out to improve forest management, enhance biodiversity, mitigate climate change and support the rights and needs of people who depend on forests across the whole supply chain and drive innovation to use wood in even smarter ways. The agenda focuses on three key areas: • Making responsible forest management the norm across the world. • Halting deforestation and reforesting degraded landscapes. • Driving innovation to use wood in smarter ways by designing all products from the very beginning to be reused, refurbished, remanufactured, and eventually recycled.

We accomplish more by working together

For many years, IKEA has partnered with businesses, governments, social groups and non-governmental organisations to fight forest degradation and deforestation and increase the volume and availability of wood from responsibly managed forests both for our own supply chain and beyond. We are on a journey to improve global forest management and make responsible wood sourcing the industry standard, contributing to building resilient forest landscapes and improve biodiversity.

Material

What is veneer?

A veneer is a thin wooden sheet attached to things like particleboard to add a durable surface and a natural wood look – so we enjoy the many benefits of wood without using solid wood. The most common veneer types are birch, ash, oak, and beech, and we’ve made a special UV lacquer that helps preserve the wood's natural structure. A benefit with a slightly thicker veneer is how you can repair and sand the surface if it’s damaged to give furniture a longer and more beautiful life.

Details create long-term quality. When I designed the STOCKHOLM series, I used lacquer that protects the surface and makes the material feel natural. The big picture was key, and the robust look is also on the inside and the backside. The slightly higher legs add simplicity to the expression and the table’s soft lines and the straight design of the storage units create contrasts, just like in nature. The result is timeless furniture ‒ just as beautiful alone as together!
