Dresser damagedCourtneyThe dresser has so many scratches all over the front, it looks awful. The entire thing needs to be repainted. It also had assembly issues with warped wood and holes not lining up. Very disappointed because it’s our 4th Hemnes we have in our house and the other ones are in great condition.2

BewareSUSAN S.We have now wasted 12 hours driving 600 miles back and forth 3 times to IKEA and continue to get broken dressers. We originally bought the tall dresser in this line and it was broken. We got this one as a replacement because they were out of the other. This one also had broken pieces. The boxes have been undamaged but will contain split pieces. This is a quality issue they need to fix. This dresser had a cracked drawer back, which we were willing to deal with until we came across a cracked drawer front. I am not paying $300 for broken furniture. We have spent $1000’s on furniture from them and the quality has really gone down hill. We will no longer buy anything from here.1
Y’all should label the piecesAnthonyY’all should label the pieces of wood. It makes it way harder to assemble than it needs to be than if you just identified the the pieces. Looks good once it’s assembled though.5
Expected better from IKEAJeffrey B.We purchased this for my daughter because IKEA is known for quality furniture. The product itself is great - but we did run into several issues. First is that very few of the parts are labeled. You are forced to look at the instructions and try to find the part in one of the 3 boxes that you get. Other DIY furniture we have purchased have had a removable label with a letter/number on the part. This led to some confusion and our having to take the dresser apart to swap parts that were reversed. VERY frustrating. Second, would be that there were several instances where the screws that were provided were not long enough to secure parts together. Thankfully, these were not primary connections. As stated before, I expected better from a company that is based upon furniture that you put together.3

Solid wood is one of our favorite materials and is part of our Scandinavian heritage. It is also a timeless material with many uses. Regardless of the wood species, it is durable, beautiful, renewable and recyclable.
