Ikea made them very quickly, no doubt in a rush to profit off the ikea cabinet craze. I don't appreciate the quality going down while the price rises due to the trend. Like most IKEA they are a pain to put together and let in more dust than I hoped and the recent price hike makes it not worth the cost. I only bought the second one so my cabinets would match, but if cost isn't a concern and you don't mind dusting the front of the shelves it's a good display case.3

Pieces didn’t fitBenjaminThe metal holes on the top bar where the doors fit in did not line up correctly so putting it together was impossible. I tried to widen to holes in the metal but it didn’t work. Luckily the metal bar wasn’t completely needed but it would be nice to have for stability and so the doors fit correctly but still disappointing2

Very nice quality! Ideal solution to limit a kid’s lego collection!!Amy G.My 9 year old wanted this so he could display his legos and other collections, without having to dust them all the time. We hesitated because it is not your typical kids room piece of furniture, but ended up getting it. We are so glad we did. There is such a focus on kids’ toy storage, but rarely do you see how to handle all of their creations. What this case does is limit the amount of “things” he does showcase, and allows him to enjoy and value what he has. My inly regret is that we could not get the one with the light kit - it was out of stock. We had to figure out how to put lights in this. We ended up getting the Dioder strip lights and threading the cord through the gap at the top side. It works out fine and we put one set of lights under one of the lower shelves. But I highly, highly recommend putting lights in this. It takes it to a whole other level. Also serves as a nightlight.5

Material

What is glass?

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda, and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
