The spacious bar table top gives plenty of space for eating, socializing but also for working.

The table has a spacious drawer for storing flatware, napkins, utensils and your computer directly under the table top.

The look and finish of this bar table work well both in kitchens and dining rooms.

This table has been tested against our strictest standards for stability, durability and safety to withstand everyday use in your home for years.

For maximum quality, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly.

Sturdy tableSusanI had to drill out two holes, the screws wouldn’t go in. Additionally, two bolts holding the legs to the top wouldn’t go in. I have put together a lot of IKEA furniture over the years and I have never had these issues. It makes me hesitant to buy anything else.3

Material

What is veneer?

A veneer is a thin wooden sheet attached to things like particleboard to add a durable surface and a natural wood look – so we enjoy the many benefits of wood without using solid wood. The most common veneer types are birch, ash, oak, and beech, and we’ve made a special UV lacquer that helps preserve the wood's natural structure. A benefit with a slightly thicker veneer is how you can repair and sand the surface if it’s damaged to give furniture a longer and more beautiful life.

“When designing the NORDVIKEN series, I wanted to create dining furniture that adapts to many different activities, collective and individual, through the day. I came up with a versatile bar table and a comfy bar stool, simple in character, with details that connect to traditional craftsmanship. The wooden construction is durable and sustainable, made to age in a nice way, so the furniture will always have a place and purpose that follows the changing needs through life.”
