There is no way toGuoThere is no way to align the legs while keep all the screwa tight. Yes, the manual does say to level the chair before tightening alll the screws, but however you adjust, once the screws are tightened, it would be the same.2
Great, but some can’t be builtVictoria C.I got four of these, 2 were easy to put together, but two had the same problem with the backstop. The holes are drilled slightly off and the backstop can’t sit flush with the relief, making the holes too far away to get the screws into.3
Very nice chair.EvaThis chair was relatively easy to assemble and is not only attractive but really quite comfortable. My only complain is that when I was at the store, there were only three left in stock! I needed six, so I will have to make a return trip sometime (a four-hour drive).5
Great dinette chairs!Stacey F.Easy to assemble, comfy and I love the green color!5
LOVEEmmaThese chairs are gorgeous. The color is phenomenal, and I couldn't be happier.5
Sturdy & attractiveScuppergirlGreen chairs are rare! I bought 4 of these to match an antique porcelain top table & they look great. They are very well made. They were easy to assemble.5
Fantastic solid chairsSANDIIIIII had such a hard time finding sturdy chairs that would hold some of my plus sized loved ones well and still fit my asthetic. These. are. perfect. I had no problems assembling them - maybe that reviewer got a bad one? They are comfortable, stylish, sturdy and affordable. They are the unicorn chair ;)5
Sturdy and comfortable, great color accenttigser12I bought just one of these to use as a desk chair since I'm not a fan of swivels nor wheeled bottoms. The assembly was straightforward and took about 30 minutes. The green color is lovely and adds a subtle accent to rooms- if you keep a lot of plants in the room it compliments even better!5
Comfortable. It"s green.twaddingtonNot difficult to assemble. Took 15-20 minutes per chair. These coordinate nicely with the YPPERLIG dining table. I purchased two green and two black.4

I love the chair but couldn’t assemble it.brianrI bought four of these chairs and all four were unable to be built. The pre-drilled holes for the first step were too small for the screws provided. Even with a drill, the screws didn’t screw. Unfortunately I had to return the chairs which I really wanted because of the style and durability. I wish I could get these chairs again but it’s inconvenient for me to purchase the items again, going home and finding out the screws don’t fit, and then having to drive to the store again to make a return. I hope the issue can be resolved soon because I really want the chairs.1
Beautiful, solid chairkwalt10I was looking for a midcentury-feeling chair to compliment our Norden table & these chairs went perfectly (they matched in color perfectly as well!) Assembling the chairs was not too hard, although it took some adjusting to get everything to line up perfectly– as long as you have a bit of patience, it will be fine. The chairs feel solid, and I am very happy with the quality materials as well.5
Awesome chair, but there are issuesFrank kilkennyWe bought four of these chairs and two need to be returned due to issues with the hardware. We got almost all the way done with the (very frustrating) build and the last few screws weren’t long enough to get into the bolts/holes that they were supposed to align with. Thankfully we live close, so returning and taking a chance on two more isn’t a huge deal, but still. Otherwise, we really love them! They’re sturdy, modern and hopefully will hold up well to our kids.4
A comfortable, stylish hardwood chair!IanwCI really wanted an all-wood (no fabric), kid-friendly, yet COMFORTABLE chair. After trying out other options that fit my style, I landed on this one. The chairs are very stable, a nice weight and my 9 year old gave me the great big smile and sigh of approval when she tested the first one for comfort. They look really awesome with my new Morbylanga dining table, and I’m confident they’ll hold up well. They’re noticeably much more solid than the pine options at Ikea; the hardwood build makes a noticeable difference. My only complaint is that these are EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING to build. I’ve built many Ikea products (the aforementioned table was a quicker build than even one of these) and this one had me taking a break in the middle of EACH chair, muttering under my breath. Honestly, I’d pay a bit more for a better build experience. I think the angle of the legs is part of the issue, but still, Ikea, you really do better than this. Very frustrating. But once the job is done, and all cursing is finished, I am very pleased with this product, and ultimately would recommend—just maybe consider splurging on paid assembly.4
Fantastic ChairIKEA_MASTERThe chairs were easy to assemble. I didn't have any issues with wrong or missing hardware.5
Don’t buy.Dismayed19We bought two of these chairs and the holes drilled in the sides and seat bottom don’t match the hardware given. No help from customer service via email or by phone. Basically said we have to drive back 126 miles each way to return the items to the store. Poor customer service as well as defective product.1

Our take on wood

Wood is the material most commonly associated with IKEA furniture, and for good reasons. It’s renewable, recyclable, durable, ages beautifully and it is an important part of our Scandinavian design heritage. At IKEA, we believe that sourced in responsible way, wood is a key change driver for climate mitigation. In 2012, we set a goal that by 2020 our wood would be from more sustainable sources. We are happy to announce that we have reached this goal and today, more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

Forests are critical for life on earth

Forests contribute to maintaining balance in the atmosphere, purify the air that we breathe and are part of the water cycle. They nourish wildlife biodiversity and provide homes for indigenous communities who depend on forests for their livelihoods. 90% of plant and animal species living on the planet need forests to survive. They provide sources of food, fuel, timber and many other ecosystem services that we rely upon. Sourcing approximately 19 million m3 of roundwood per year from some 50 countries, IKEA has a significant impact on the world’s forests and the timber industry and a huge responsibility to positively influence how wood is sourced. Responsible wood sourcing and forest management ensure that the needs of people dependent on forests are met, that businesses can work sustainably, that forest ecosystems are protected and biodiversity is enhanced.

100% wood from more sustainable sources

At IKEA, we work with strict industry standards to promote responsible forestry. We don’t allow any wood in our supply chain from forest areas that are illegal or contain high conservation values or from forest areas with social conflict. Before starting to work with IKEA, suppliers must demonstrate that they meet IKEA critical requirements on wood sourcing. IKEA requires all suppliers to source wood from more sustainable sources (FSC-certified or recycled wood). All suppliers are audited regularly and non-compliant suppliers are required to implement immediate corrective actions. By working together with our suppliers, we are proud to announce that we have reached our more sustainable sources goal, which we set out to achieve by 2020. Today more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030

As pressure on the world’s forests and the surrounding eco-systems increases due to unsustainable agriculture, the expansion of infrastructure and illegal logging, it is time to take an even more holistic approach to protect and support these important resources for generations to come. The IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030 set out to improve forest management, enhance biodiversity, mitigate climate change and support the rights and needs of people who depend on forests across the whole supply chain and drive innovation to use wood in even smarter ways. The agenda focuses on three key areas: • Making responsible forest management the norm across the world. • Halting deforestation and reforesting degraded landscapes. • Driving innovation to use wood in smarter ways by designing all products from the very beginning to be reused, refurbished, remanufactured, and eventually recycled.

We accomplish more by working together

For many years, IKEA has partnered with businesses, governments, social groups and non-governmental organisations to fight forest degradation and deforestation and increase the volume and availability of wood from responsibly managed forests both for our own supply chain and beyond. We are on a journey to improve global forest management and make responsible wood sourcing the industry standard, contributing to building resilient forest landscapes and improve biodiversity.

What is veneer?

A veneer is a thin wooden sheet attached to things like particleboard to add a durable surface and a natural wood look – so we enjoy the many benefits of wood without using solid wood. The most common veneer types are birch, ash, oak, and beech, and we’ve made a special UV lacquer that helps preserve the wood's natural structure. A benefit with a slightly thicker veneer is how you can repair and sand the surface if it’s damaged to give furniture a longer and more beautiful life.
