Read reviews!!Sasha B.I find it despicable that people will give a product 1 star without ever even using it, but because they haven't been able to purchase it yet! This crib is fantastic. My son has been using it for 7 months and we are getting ready to move the mattress lower as he will be standing up soon. Fantastic crib - sturdy, beautiful, matches everything, and was very quick & easy to put together!5
Not in stockBethanne H.Been waiting for this for months. Will this be in stock in KS soon ?1
Questions about this productAndrea C.How far apart are the crib slats (bars) on this crib? And, how many inches are the raised sides from the mattress?5
Broken after 6 months of useLilia B.We transitioned my son to this crib around 12 months old- first time use, brand new crib. He is now 18 months and not a big guy. One of the bolts that holds up the mattress suddenly collapsed through the frame while he was in it. I contacted IKEA who was unwilling to fix, replace, or refund. Completely disappointed- shouldn't a crib hold up longer, and not collapse with an infant way under the weight limit? Will rethink future child purchases from a safety perspective.1
Out of stock for awhile with no updatesVerna T.I wish the website would update when they would be back in stock in San Antonio stone oak area.1
Beautiful, high quality cribRoya C.Our little one has been enjoying this crib for the past 2 months! It is beautiful and sturdy - an excellent value! The only challenge we had is in with assembling it - we had to watch a YouTube video to figure out one part. As other reviewers have mentioned, yes, it does not lift as high as the picture. However, it is not a challenge to pick up your baby from the top setting. We are using a Beautyrest Silver Slumbertime mattress that fits perfectly. We cannot recommend this crib enough!!5
Simple, functional, affordableKerry K.We needed a crib for a small space and this worked perfectly. Easy to put together - we’ve already dissembled and moved it twice with no issues. Check YouTube if you’re struggling. Neither of us is very tall so this crib has worked well for putting baby in and out. I found the infant setting was fine. Our baby wouldn’t sleep in the crib at first anyway and we ended up using a basinet. Then he was sitting and pulling to stand pretty early so we had to lower the mattress to keep him from climbing/falling out. Purchased the $100 ikea mattress and linens, a perfect fit.5
nice crib!Alyssa C.So this crib is absolutely lovely! It fit what I wanted for the nursery. The only problem is that some of the hardware does not screw in all the way. So we're fixing that with drilling into the wood to fit the screws. Also, the infant height setting is not the same as pictured! It's a lot lower than I would have liked. A few inches above toddler height...but it's already set up and baby will be here soon so I'm just keeping it. Otherwise, I like everything else about this crib4
Excellent Baby CribSharonLove this item so much that I bought two so that each grandchild could have a crib at the beach house when they visit. Simple, clean lines!5
Minimalist CribJAIMEIt's an incredibly cute crib. Simple and sweet. Easy to build. The only reason I gave it a four is because it only has two height settings. And the top setting is only a couple inches higher than the bottom.4
Best BuyDANIELLEI love this crib! Easy to assemble, looks great in our room and does the job. Also. It doesn’t take up much space which is a bonus. I’d recommend this crib to budget friendly consumers5

Our take on wood

Wood is the material most commonly associated with IKEA furniture, and for good reasons. It’s renewable, recyclable, durable, ages beautifully and it is an important part of our Scandinavian design heritage. At IKEA, we believe that sourced in responsible way, wood is a key change driver for climate mitigation. In 2012, we set a goal that by 2020 our wood would be from more sustainable sources. We are happy to announce that we have reached this goal and today, more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

Forests are critical for life on earth

Forests contribute to maintaining balance in the atmosphere, purify the air that we breathe and are part of the water cycle. They nourish wildlife biodiversity and provide homes for indigenous communities who depend on forests for their livelihoods. 90% of plant and animal species living on the planet need forests to survive. They provide sources of food, fuel, timber and many other ecosystem services that we rely upon. Sourcing approximately 19 million m3 of roundwood per year from some 50 countries, IKEA has a significant impact on the world’s forests and the timber industry and a huge responsibility to positively influence how wood is sourced. Responsible wood sourcing and forest management ensure that the needs of people dependent on forests are met, that businesses can work sustainably, that forest ecosystems are protected and biodiversity is enhanced.

100% wood from more sustainable sources

At IKEA, we work with strict industry standards to promote responsible forestry. We don’t allow any wood in our supply chain from forest areas that are illegal or contain high conservation values or from forest areas with social conflict. Before starting to work with IKEA, suppliers must demonstrate that they meet IKEA critical requirements on wood sourcing. IKEA requires all suppliers to source wood from more sustainable sources (FSC-certified or recycled wood). All suppliers are audited regularly and non-compliant suppliers are required to implement immediate corrective actions. By working together with our suppliers, we are proud to announce that we have reached our more sustainable sources goal, which we set out to achieve by 2020. Today more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030

As pressure on the world’s forests and the surrounding eco-systems increases due to unsustainable agriculture, the expansion of infrastructure and illegal logging, it is time to take an even more holistic approach to protect and support these important resources for generations to come. The IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030 set out to improve forest management, enhance biodiversity, mitigate climate change and support the rights and needs of people who depend on forests across the whole supply chain and drive innovation to use wood in even smarter ways. The agenda focuses on three key areas: • Making responsible forest management the norm across the world. • Halting deforestation and reforesting degraded landscapes. • Driving innovation to use wood in smarter ways by designing all products from the very beginning to be reused, refurbished, remanufactured, and eventually recycled.

We accomplish more by working together

For many years, IKEA has partnered with businesses, governments, social groups and non-governmental organisations to fight forest degradation and deforestation and increase the volume and availability of wood from responsibly managed forests both for our own supply chain and beyond. We are on a journey to improve global forest management and make responsible wood sourcing the industry standard, contributing to building resilient forest landscapes and improve biodiversity.

Material

What is solid wood?

Solid wood is one of our favorite materials and is part of our Scandinavian heritage. It is also a timeless material with many uses. Regardless of the wood species, it is durable, beautiful, renewable and recyclable. We strive to use this raw material as smartly and efficiently as possible to avoid waste – and we also invest in facilities and logistics so that we can increase the use of recycled wood. This way, every tree is put to good use that little extra.
