Sturdy and beautifulDiana H.I bought this CT and couldn’t be more happy! Quality is great, it feels really sturdy, great finish, and love the space to put baskets in between. Assembled was easy and fast, once you have all the pieces in order. I really love that IKEA make good quality product at an affordable price. I hope they don’t increase the prices with the inflation.5
Love this changing table! Worth the money!Victoria G.I love this changing table! I bought this right before my twins were born back in January 2020 and it has held up great! It’s a perfect size- the shelves have plenty of room for storage and organizing bins. I even bought the attachments that had held diaper cream, some wipes, diapers other little essentials etc.. I just had another baby and used it again! Now I am changing it over for toy storage! It’s the perfect size and is cute- vicki g5
Great product. Looks greatJACOBThe mattress fits perfectly snug. The product is tricky putting together by yourself but not impossible. I love the finish on the paint. We needed something that also had storage and this item is perfect as you can access the shelves from either side of the changing table.5
Not White - So frustratingKaren P.Hired Task Rabbit to assemble this changing table and once it was assembled I noticed to my horror that it is not white. It's an off-white, almost yellow cream color that matches nothing else in the room. Like a piece of furniture that has aged for several years. Grrrr - got a refund over the phone but now I'm trying to figure out what do with the piece of off-white furniture in my nursery and how to buy and build an actually white changing table (again...). My kid's bedrooms are on a 2nd floor so it's just a big headache ten days before my due date. Darn :/1
Good quality at a great priceKimberlyWe purchased 5 of these for our preschool’s infant classrooms. Good quality tables. Sturdy and compact. I highly recommend this product.4
Good changing tableSarah S.It goes together pretty easily, but we did have to use some force to slide certain of the wooden slats into their proper positions. I love the color, and there's lots of storage room. We'll see how baby likes it once he gets here!5
Worth every penny!SarahI love it! Awesome height and great space for storage!5
Not badCHIATEGood stuff and acceptable price5
SturdyNadiaSzAwesome big sturdy table. Perfect for my dog to look at the window5
Not white and do not allow standard changing padThomasMedfordI would not recommand this product. You cannot use it with a standard changing pad and it does not look white.1
Total value for the pricePiyuMy bub isnt here yet due in November however this changing table is all setup. Love everything about it. It isnt pure white however it matches my crib from target. We live in an apartment so the crib and changing table is both in our room and no issues to fit in the room. *the most important thing is dont buy a 32 changing pad it wont fit(we tried). Use a 31 or 30 pad. I got the LA baby 30 changing pad from walmart which worked. Also good height for a short or tall person, Im 5'2 and hub is 6'2 for ref.4
No need for any other changing tablegrertThis is the perfect changing table at the perfect price. I was able to fit my organic overpriced natural changing pad on this, leaving about 3-4 inches space on one side of the pad. I will leave this space for wipes. I did have to slightly press the overpriced changing pad in to get it to fit at the top and bottom, but it's fine. This will turn into a bookcase/storage for my older kids when the weight limit is reached.5
It’s IVORY NOT WHITEReady4babyIt’s not white, doesn’t match my white crib Or other white IKEA furniture. It’s ivory or off white. It’s a nice piece, sturdy and has large shelves so I may just paint it. Also very easy to assemble, I’m 8 months pregnant and assembled it myself.4
Perfect size!Mamabear722Perfect size for a growing baby, I’m sure I will be able to use this changing table until my son is out of diapers. I love the shelves for storage, I was able to store everything he needs right under where he pays to be changed. It was extremely easy to put together, I was able to assemble it while 9 months pregnant.5
Perfect sizeDee2Dee2I provide childcare in my home and this has been perfect for organizing changing supplies.5
Beware, this is NOT whiteanjnaLooks sparkling bright white like everything else you buy from Ikea on the website, doesn't it? So I was pretty upset for it to arrive and be a dull, not-sure-if-it's-white-or-ivory color that doesn't match any of the other white furniture--including white IKEA furniture--in the room. My husband refuses to deal with the pain of a return, so we're stuck with mismatched stuff or have to paint it.1
Good Quality and looks good!TexasTwinsI am so glad I didn't buy an expensive changing table. This has been awesome and is so sturdy. I love the open shelves. Good buy!5
PerfectLhp980My son is almost 16 months old and we have been using this and the coordinating crib since he was born. Still looks brand new despite him hitting it with toys trying to stand up and jump while getting changed, etc. When our older son was born we got an expensive set from babies r us, and the table started to fall apart before his first birthday. Wish we had known about this one back then! I got some collapsible low height cubes from Walmart to organize diapers and other loose things on the shelves. Only complaint is that it doesn’t fit all standard changing pads, I found one on amazon, but I had to pay attention to dimensions.5
Perfect fitrachomperooEasy to assemble and it looks like it should cost $100 more. We used the KUGGIS boxes to hide the mish-mosh of baby essentials to minimize the visual clutter (also to keep out puppy hair and a very curious cat ^_^) We also use the VADRA changing pad and cover.5
Looks greatawb14Glad we decided to get the changing table at Ikea. This has a sleek design. The shelves are deep enough to fit large baskets, and it's at a good height for 5'5 me and 6'0 hubby. The paint is good. The ridges on top align with the changing pad (also from Ikea - I recommend) which is ok for my newborn, but make me nervous for a crawler. That being said plenty people use dressers that don't have any ridges, so I don't know how the heck that works - this is more secure than that!5

Our take on wood

Wood is the material most commonly associated with IKEA furniture, and for good reasons. It’s renewable, recyclable, durable, ages beautifully and it is an important part of our Scandinavian design heritage. At IKEA, we believe that sourced in responsible way, wood is a key change driver for climate mitigation. In 2012, we set a goal that by 2020 our wood would be from more sustainable sources. We are happy to announce that we have reached this goal and today, more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

Forests are critical for life on earth

Forests contribute to maintaining balance in the atmosphere, purify the air that we breathe and are part of the water cycle. They nourish wildlife biodiversity and provide homes for indigenous communities who depend on forests for their livelihoods. 90% of plant and animal species living on the planet need forests to survive. They provide sources of food, fuel, timber and many other ecosystem services that we rely upon. Sourcing approximately 19 million m3 of roundwood per year from some 50 countries, IKEA has a significant impact on the world’s forests and the timber industry and a huge responsibility to positively influence how wood is sourced. Responsible wood sourcing and forest management ensure that the needs of people dependent on forests are met, that businesses can work sustainably, that forest ecosystems are protected and biodiversity is enhanced.

100% wood from more sustainable sources

At IKEA, we work with strict industry standards to promote responsible forestry. We don’t allow any wood in our supply chain from forest areas that are illegal or contain high conservation values or from forest areas with social conflict. Before starting to work with IKEA, suppliers must demonstrate that they meet IKEA critical requirements on wood sourcing. IKEA requires all suppliers to source wood from more sustainable sources (FSC-certified or recycled wood). All suppliers are audited regularly and non-compliant suppliers are required to implement immediate corrective actions. By working together with our suppliers, we are proud to announce that we have reached our more sustainable sources goal, which we set out to achieve by 2020. Today more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030

As pressure on the world’s forests and the surrounding eco-systems increases due to unsustainable agriculture, the expansion of infrastructure and illegal logging, it is time to take an even more holistic approach to protect and support these important resources for generations to come. The IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030 set out to improve forest management, enhance biodiversity, mitigate climate change and support the rights and needs of people who depend on forests across the whole supply chain and drive innovation to use wood in even smarter ways. The agenda focuses on three key areas: • Making responsible forest management the norm across the world. • Halting deforestation and reforesting degraded landscapes. • Driving innovation to use wood in smarter ways by designing all products from the very beginning to be reused, refurbished, remanufactured, and eventually recycled.

We accomplish more by working together

For many years, IKEA has partnered with businesses, governments, social groups and non-governmental organisations to fight forest degradation and deforestation and increase the volume and availability of wood from responsibly managed forests both for our own supply chain and beyond. We are on a journey to improve global forest management and make responsible wood sourcing the industry standard, contributing to building resilient forest landscapes and improve biodiversity.

Material

What is solid wood?

Solid wood is one of our favorite materials and is part of our Scandinavian heritage. It is also a timeless material with many uses. Regardless of the wood species, it is durable, beautiful, renewable and recyclable. We strive to use this raw material as smartly and efficiently as possible to avoid waste – and we also invest in facilities and logistics so that we can increase the use of recycled wood. This way, every tree is put to good use that little extra.
