A crib mattress where you can see and feel the care in every detail, from the well-ventilated construction to the durable fabric and detailed stitching.

The outer cover is easy to remove and is machine washable at 140°F (Hot).

A fixed inner cover increases the fire safety of the mattress and makes it easy to put the outer cover back on after washing. It also prevents children from putting mattress contents in their mouth.

Pocket springs allow air to circulate freely in the mattress core and provides your child with a well-ventilated sleeping climate with an even temperature.

The zipper of this mattress has a little pocket where you can hide the pull tab from the hands of curious children.

The mattress is dimensioned for IKEA cribs.

We recommend IKEA fitted sheets for cribs. They are dimensioned for our mattresses, which means the mattress retains its secure shape and size.

Wash the cover inside out with the zipper closed.

Best in between if you’re shopping non toxicAbbys MommaI had to give up on my idea of buying an organic crib mattress because they are so expensive and most of them still contain poly urethane foam. This mattress contains 51% poly urethane foam vs the organic option which included 92% poly urethane foam with an organic cotton cover. I chose this one and decided to buy an inexpensive organic cotton waterproof cover. I am happy with the mattress and can sleep easy knowing our daughter isn’t exposed to many harsh chemicals. The only problem I had was actually purchasing the mattress. The store was out of them every time we visited so we had to buy it online and pay a $29 delivery AND waited two weeks for the earliest delivery date. I’m assuming it’s a good mattress since it’s so popular!5

What is foam?

Foam is excellent as upholstery in seating and mattresses since it provides good comfort and can relieve pressure by moulding to the body. Depending on the properties and feel you’re looking for, there are several qualities to choose from, like high-resilience foam and memory foam. The raw material for foam was previously based entirely on virgin fossil materials. But today, together with our suppliers, we’ve begun developing a material that is renewable and recycled.

This 4¾" thick mattress has individually wrapped pocket springs enclosed in a generous layer of pressure-relieving foam. Since the springs work independently, they closely follow your baby’s body and provide support in the right places. The well-ventilated construction provides your baby with a pleasant sleeping environment. A practical handle makes the mattress easy to carry ‒ and to turn over when making the bed. You can remove the outer cover and machine wash it at 140°F (Hot).
