Good. Needs better hardware.ElizabethPerfect for small spaces if you use your own hardware to install. I repeat, do not use the hardware that comes with this. Right now, mine holds 18 hangers of athletic wear and ~10 empty hangers. Sturdy enough for clothes but not sturdy enough for a toddler to hang play monkey bars on. Regarding assembly, I found it pretty easy but I did have to ask someone to hold one side to ensure I could install the first side. Tbh, I wish these looked cuter and weren't rounded at the ends because my hangers roll on the side. Still, I totally recommend! These are a good alternative to clothes racks that take up floor space.4

clothes rackCeciliaThis might have been a great product if the hardware were supplied with it and the ability to make it wider was easier. I was only able to get one of two units to extend. I finally ended up throwing them out. Very disappointed and I am usually very satisfied with Ikea products.2

Properly installed but fell down in 2 weeks!eva1891I properly installed the clothing rack, using 4 Ikea extra long screws (including drywall screws) from Fixa, and after 2 weeks, the clothing rack fell down, snapping one of the Ikea screws in half in the process! The rack was not fully extended and was holding cocktail dresses, which aren't that heavy. Note, the studs in my apartments are metal, so I could not hang the rack on studs; however, by using drywall screws, the rack should have been sufficiently anchored to the wall. I'm hoping this is just a fluke and that the Ikea bookshelves that I bought won't also fall out of the wall, because if they do, they will destroy my TV (which is sitting on a TV stand in front of the shelves). Don't buy this product!1
Honestly did not hold my clothes at all.Mariab14Was looking forward to hang some of my clothes but ended up not working out. It just keep Falling. It is not meant for heavy things.2

Awesome product!EvaRoyal1I bought this rack about three weeks ago to go in my laundry room. But I actually wound up using it in the closet of my daughter’s new apartment. She really loves it! It was easy to install and it works great. The only thing is, that it does NOT come with screws. (I checked a few packages before I bought one). You will need four of them, at least 2 inches and narrow. I don’t have the proper name for the screws because it came in one of my tool boxes of screws that I happen to save from other things.5
Fantastic closet solutionYijiaGirlLast year I moved into a small apartment room without a closet. I hung two of these with drywall anchors and was able to hang my entire 3 seasons worth of shirts, jackets, pants, sweaters. These things are sturdy and thick, I absolutely recommend them5
Missing pieces, Missing detailed instructionsflfishermanI've been wanting to organize a pile of clothes for a while and purchased this to help me hang some ikea organizers. After opening the package we realized there were no screws in the package. Rather than trek back we found some comparable screws and installed it. The piece fell down within a week. Incomplete packaging is not something I'm used to with Ikea. Not a good experience at all.1

Disappointing!LowExpectationsOrdered this online and was excited to finally save space in my studio apartment. It DID NOT come with the screws, they just shipped the bar itself! I had to rush to Home Depot and ask their employees to help me find the screws that will fit this clothes bar. Finally, once I assembled this onto my wall, I cannot hang my heavy coats! Just my shirts and anything light. What a disappointment!1
