Don’t worry about the batteries suddenly running low on power. The lock makes a clear beeping sound when it’s time to replace the batteries.

Two master keycards are included.

Batteries sold separately, 3 pcs AAA required.

IKEA recommends LADDA rechargeable batteries.

Do not mix batteries of different types, capacities or date stamps.

If the batteries are running low, you will hear five quick beeps when operating the lock. The beep continues to warn you every 30 minutes until the lock enters sleep mode.

InconsistentRaeuqAlthough this product states that it is compatible with Theo products it does not work with the rolling file cabinet we purchased. The lock was also very inconsistent and would not engage through the product wall. Needless to say it was returned.1
Excellent Locks!!!hguessI was super surprised how much I would love these locks. They are sturdy and easy to install. Perfect for bedroom dresser drawers that you want to keep kids or others out of. They are hidden in the inside of the drawer so you don't have any bulky hardware on your furniture and it's so different that it would be confusing for anyone that didn't know how it worked to figure it out. I purchased one and then went back and purchased several more for my family and for myself.5
