Product details

10-year Warranty. Read about the terms in the warranty brochure.

Your back gets the support it needs because the seat depth can be adjusted and the chair has built-in lumbar support.

You can adjust the headrest and the lumbar support to suit you and your needs.

Give your arms a comfortable support since the armrests can be adjusted upwards/downwards and forwards/backwards.

The adjustable armrests of this swivel chair can help take the load off your shoulders and neck to reduce tension, strain and pain.

You can lean back with perfect balance, as the tilt tension mechanism automatically adjusts the resistance to suit your weight and movements.

The adjustable and lockable tilt function increases stability and control in different sitting positions.

The mesh material of the backrest lets air through to your back during long sitting periods.

The safety casters have a pressure-sensitive brake mechanism that keeps the chair in place when you stand up, and releases automatically when you sit down.

The leather ages beautifully and acquires a nice patina over time.

May be used with KOLON floor protector.

Disappointed but OKDanielI used to own a wonderful full back chair from IKEA but left it with a friend when I moved. I could sit in it for hours and days with any discomfort. This is the better of the chairs IKEA has now and the seat is too hard and my back feels strain after a couple long days of use.2
Tilting aspect...Donna O.I wrote a separate review, but forgot to mention the title on this chair. Yes, you can tilt back while sitting in the chair; however, you have to hold the chair back with quite a bit of resistance with your body. You can't just lean back and easily stay there for a few minutes. The resistance is too great. Once you ease up on your legs, the chair will return to right back to the straight-up position. I've tried adding WD-40 and hoped it would ease up over time, but it didn't. The tilt function is useless.2
Frustrating WheelsDonna O.I've had this chair now for close to 2 years. It isn't the softest chair, but doesn't bother me after sitting in it all day for work. However, the wheels are extremely frustrating in that they don't want to move. If you want to move the chair when you aren't sitting in it, you literally have to drag it. If you want to move the chair when you're sitting in it, you have to really pull on it. Not sure why Ikea decided this wheel design was a good idea, but they missed the mark.2
Good in theory and looks. Poor execution.Bill B.After living with this for longer than the return window, unfortunately not to measure up to initial impressions. As mentioned elsewhere, the seat is FIRM. Firm to the point of almost feeling as if you're constantly balancing on it. The back is bolt upright which leaves the lumbar adjustment useless. (at least to my posture) The fore/aft seat slider offers little help in geometry from the seat back. Seat elevation works fine and does not sink under 210 lbs. Finally, and possibly the worst "feature" are on the casters. Looking out for my safety they lock upon unweighting so that the chair cannot move out of the way without a grappling match. I assure you this is not a feature, rather a bug. I don't normally black out unseating myself, I'll take my chances thank you! Others may need this feature? Casters undersized in my opinion and also resistant to rolling when seated. Chair looks great and was easy to assemble, but the ergos resemble a $20 steel stool.2
Love everything about the chair except the cushionElido R.Pretty torn on this chair honestly. It's pretty easy to compare to the ikea markus since they are pretty much the same body just with different adjustments, material and waaaaay better armrests. The adjustments like the sliding seat, lumbar support and height adjustable arms were good for the price. Headrest was great for me too at 6'1". It has metal caster and a metal backing that make it feel really premium as well. Now the only thing that killed this chair for me was the firmness of the seat. It's very hard! If you don't need to sit in your chair for work or leisure for more than 2 or 3 hours I'd say go for it but being 250 lbs this cushion had no give at all. It makes your butt sore pretty quickly! The strange thing is the other similar chair Markus has a much softer cloth seat that worked fine. Oh also the armrest are just hard plastic so I suggest putting a soft armrest cover to make it more comfortable. I ended up returning mine but if you prefer a firm seat you might like this3
WonderfulBarry B.After I assembled it was the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in. I recommend this one highly.5
UncomfortableLISASeemed good sitting in the store, but really hurt my lower back once I took it home and sat in it for an extended period of time.1
