Unusable as IntendedAllison F.Fundamentally flawed and does not operate as intended. There is no locking mechanism for adjusting the light vertically up and down. Instead it is held in place via the rubbery grip on the clamp/wall mount. This grip is not strong enough, and so the light constantly falls downward either on its own or if you slightly bump into it (which often startles me, as it seems like the whole thing is falling). Additionally, when you pull the rod back up you often take with it the interlocking portion of the mount with the clamp, which means you accidentally dismantle the thing when you pull up to adjust the light. It's insanely frustrating and essentially unusable unless you tape or glue the rod in place, which removes the adjustability and main feature of this light. I like the actual light though - it's warm white and I think a good brightness for a lamp that will likely be so close to your eyes. I might replace this with a fixed lamp of this series.1

Genuinely annoying (wall mount method)Ria M.When used as a wall mount sconce instead of the clamp method, this is THE most annoying lamp I have ever owned. 1 - there is no way to lock the sliding portion of the lamp into place, so it's always falling down. 2 - The wall attachment piece does not actually stay in place with the measly two-screw bracket, so it spins constantly, slides up from the wall. Any time you use the on/off switch, because it is on the cord the slightest tensions pulls on the lamp causing it to spin/scrape against your wall or slide out of the bracket. AWFUL. I wish I could return it.1

Perfect light flexible installationSTEPHENInstalling the light was real easy and simple. Love that in can be clamped pretty much anywhere and then bent and rotated to where you need the light. Installed as a bed reading light. We will get another for the other side of the bed.5

Navlinge lightPamI was very disappointed with this light compared to it's predecessor, the 45" silver light. We purchased the 45" light a few years ago for my daughter and decided to get the same for our room, however, it was not available so we bought the Navlinge. For one, the light does not stay put with the brace that is provided, it keeps moving and does not seem sturdy enough. It also does not give off enough light. Please bring back the other light, I would even buy them again to replace the Navligne.1

Beautiful, sleek, functional, flawed designIanI really like the look and minimalism of this lamp it gives comfortable lighting without cluttering the desk. The fact that the height is adjustable is a really nice feature, except for the fact that it isn’t tight enough, and sometimes the lamp slips down without warning, which could cause damage to the desk or to devices. I added some electric tape to thicken the stem so that it would hold tighter, because I like the lamp enough to keep it despite this serious design flaw.3
