Chalk cardboardTheresaPut this up in my kitchen. Glad I read reviews because you really need to use only chalk to be able to erase well. Just wish it was a better quality instead of just cardboard. But for 2.99 understandable.5
Know idea how to clean itTiffany W.Was very excited about this, marker worked well. Then I tried to clean it to write something else - it's a one time use product if you want a clean, black background after the first use. I used water to clean but there's always a white film and even with scrubbing it never gets clean.2

Doesn"t work with chalk markerroporopoWhen this product first came out, it did not mention that this was for chalk. Also, one of the product images with the weekly calendar clearly shows that it's written with marker. A damp rag does not remove marker, neither does vigorous scrubbing.1
