Thanks to the click-clack mechanism, this sofa quickly and easily converts into a spacious bed when you pull the underframe upwards and fold down the backrest.

The cover doesn’t need to be removed when you change function from sofa to bed, and back.

The space under the sofa is designed to fit storage boxes where you can store bed linen, etc.

Choose from different mattresses and a variety of covers to create your perfect combination.

Extra covers to alternate with mean it's easy to give both your sofa and room a new look.

The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and can be machine washed.

Nice Sofa / BedRaeNyhamn is a nice sofa / bed for out apartment. It is a bit spartan when you set it up, so I spiced it up with a set of 12 or more pillows. IKEA has nice pillows you can't for this purpose, or you cn find them at local throats, as I did. I also put a spread on to combat that grey color scheme...5

The price was what initially caught my eye along w/ its features. It is really comfortable. More so than I thought it would be. I love that I can pull it out into a bed for guests or to relax on my own. The design is really sleek as well. Decorate with pillows and blankets as desired. It's a bit longer than I expected but it's actually nice to have the extra room when lounging. It was difficult to put together on my own.5
Frame cracked after about a year. Ikea won"t honor warrantyKara K.This sofa was terrible from the start. it's too deep, too firm, too high, the fabric started pilling after about six months and then the center steel frame cracked. We tried, contacting ikea customer service at the store where we purchased it, but we just got a response that they are investigating. A year later and nothing. It bothers me that this will be another hunk of materials in the landfill after so little use.1

Durable and versatile after 1.5 yearsCarl214Best investment made. Just moved to LA and needed a sleeper sofa that's durable, heavy, and easy to convert. This Nyhamn sofa fulfilled those criteria quite well. I opted for the spring mattress and it is doing wonders treating my lower back pain. Spring mattress is medium firm. 1.5 years into it, the frame creaks a little.4
