Great for smaller handsMelanie2008Bought these knives in October 2019. They were very sharp & ready to use right out of the box. I have small hands & was considering the Shun knives. I bought these so I wouldn't have to use the bigger handle knives that were hurting my hands while I shopped for the 'expensive' knives. At Thanksgiving I used the Shun knives of a friend & loved how well they worked. As soon as we got home I pulled out these knives & cut the same things I cut earlier that day; I had the exact same result. Not only did they cut without effort but the handles felt better in my hand. A few days ago I was lamenting I didn't have a bread knife from the same line as I had some French bread with crispy crust & soft interior to cut. I took a chance & grabbed one of these knives. It cut through the bread without flattening one bit. And cut through the crust like butter. I'm here now to purchase more knives from this line.5

They came wicked sharp right out of the box (yay) and they've held up great the past month. Just follow the rules (i.e. don't put them in the dishwasher, hand wash and dry right after) and you'll have great knives for ages. Would highly recommend!5
Good replacementC in COWe have loved our IKEA knives for years! So much so, that we bought them for everyone in the family for Christmas. IKEA no longer has those particular knives, so we were looking for replacements. These have very comfortable handles. Out of the box, they are extremely sharp. We have yet to determine if the knife holds its edge.5
