It’s sized to fit in, an stir a cup of coffee or tea. What we commonly refer to as teaspoons in America, are classified as desert spoons. That aside, it’s a great flatware set.5
Buy the larger setChristie L.We bought this set, and yes, the teaspoons are baby sized spoons. After I returned them, I noticed they have this same model in a larger set with three types of spoons - large, medium and "baby" spoons. (We actually use the baby spoons for getting wet cat food out of those tiny cans - for our cats.) Anyway, the point being if you don't want to waste your time and money, and need adult sized spoons, buy the larger set. They are smooth, light, easy to handle/use, and so far they have held up nicely in the dishwasher.5

Very disappointing!bbfennalI was so excited when I ordered my flatware and even more so when it arrived until I opened the box. The teaspoons look like baby spoons!! Now I see it however when I ordered them I didn't see. it. I will be returning them to the store. It works if you have a lot of wee ones around, but it's hubby, our 18-year-old about to head to college son and occasionally our 15-year-old granddaughter and 2-year-old grandson.2

Spoon sizesCustomer12345678910I like the set, but the spoon sizes are suuuuuper different. There's one small, baby size spoon and one monster spoon. I just don't understand why they're so different in size. But they wash fine. I've used them for a month now with no issues.4
