Messy mornings before leaving for work. Children waiting to be picked up after school. When you're finally back home at the end of the day, you want dinner preparation to be fuss-free. The hustle of everyday life may be stressful, but cooking should be a breeze.
With an induction cooktop you can prepare your meal quickly and safely, without the hassle of standard cooktops. A two-litre pan of pasta water can boil within minutes. The induction technology also means there’s no risk of little ones burning their hands on a hotplate.
Induction cooktops work by heating your cookware directly, instead of just transferring the heat from cooktop to pan and pot. In other words, induction cooktops stay almost completely cold, as the heat flows directly into the base of your cookware.
Induction cooktops for every home and kitchen
In our selection of induction cooktops you'll find a variety of models with different functionalities.
Models with the bridging function allows you to connect two cooking zones into one large one. This is perfect when using big or odd-size pots or pans. Our induction cooktops with flexible zones offer the same kind of possibilities. You can vary the cooking surface by using the flexible heating zones together or separately. This means you can adapt them to pots and pans in different shapes and sizes.

Which pans and pots can I use for induction cooktops?
You need to be aware of which kinds of cookware you're using with induction cooktops. These pots and pans need to have a flat base made of ferrous or “magnetic” metal. This is common among good quality cookware. To be sure you pick the right ones, look for the coil symbol on the base. See all our pots and pans in our Cookware department.
Tips for Using Induction Cooktops
Induction is known for heating up cookware quickly, which is both efficient and timesaving. Because of this speed, we recommend you prepare all the ingredients and chop all the veggies before you heat up the pan. Remember to not heat cookware when it's empty. It can overheat and become discolored.
